Refractive and Intraocular lens options

The video above describes the different types of intraocular lenses and the important points to consider when making a decision about the type of intraocular lens and the refractive aims of surgery.

The PDF document summarises these intraocular lens options.

The video below explains what we mean by long-sightedness, short-sightedness and astigmatism.

Sulcoflex Trifocal intraocular lenses

These innovative lenses can be implanted in patients who have already undergone cataract surgery with monofocal implants to improve their intermediate and near vision without glasses.

For patients who are about to undergo cataract surgery the Sulcoflex Trifocal lens can be implanted with a monofocal lens in what is known as a Duet procedure.
